Knocked together one of poodles kits(BOT50) tonight to kill an hour:

As usual I soldered the components fine but nearly made a pigs ear of the switch wiring(so fiddly and get me nearly every time!)

Indeed it is a COT50, congrats on building a superb kit.

It is a great design taken from the Electra pedal, I tend to prefer it with single coils - killer combo. Have BYOC gone for the original design with a volume jump when you plug it in a clean amp?

I have my homemade version on my board.

From what I can tell there is a minor jump in volume but I'm intending to use it as an always on kinda pedal anyway so its no biggie :)

I'm going to build the Brian May Treble booster now! (2 kits in 1 order)

Treble booster didn't work out :(

It's the second time I've buggered that kit up.

This one worked in bypass but nothing came through the circuit board.

Think I'll hang up my soldering iron for now and give it a break for the foreseeable future.
