thinking of dropping a celestion h30 into an orange Rocker 30 combo, what's the opinion on that? Safe or will the little orange eat it up?

thanks!

Probably safe, but if you don't have the speaker already, get a G12H-75 Creamback instead. Similar-sounding but easily high enough rated.

The Rocker is cathode-biased so it's quite compressed when it reaches full power. Unless you're absolutely thrashing it with a very bassy sound or heavy fuzz into the clean channel it's probably not going to blow it, but it might sound a bit ragged.

    Wis'd.
A Creamback or a G12-65 Heritage if you want a more compressed modern sound.
