Anyone had a harken? A guy on another forum is asking what they are like.

I know folks here rate the Creamback but the Vs are almost 1/2 the price.

Yep, the V-Type is - in my opinion - the best and most balanced speaker they make. It's kind of like a V30 without the spikiness, or a G12H with more mids (totally subjectively, of course).

Agree. I love it. I have one in a laney cub 12 and it sings.

It's exceptional.

Best paired with the A-Type in a 2x12" or X-pattern in a 4x12". I can't fault it.

Yes! soundonsound.com I am often sending peeps from there to here or quoting bits to and from.

They are mainly to do with top end recording but always have guitar related reviews and such ***T

Thanks for the gen' I see there is some confusion twixt the 'V type' and the 'V 30' I don't know why mnfctrs DO this!

I am sure Blackstar get angry letter from buyers of the 'Artist' who though they were getting a cheap 'ArtiSAN!
