Best drums software/plugin?

What's the best software to use to create drum backing tracks for rehearsing with? I'd like a certain amount of control but I don't want to have to program every individual beat.

I have Logic Pro X.

Any recommendations?

Mentioned here before mt powerkit 2 drums are free. They now expect a donation or you are 'nagged' if you have budget then lots out there.

I've done a bit with it, ie. set it up to accompany me on a simple track. Nothing complex.
