Happy belated birthday. I remember pressing my nose against the glass of a high street music store and drooling over these. I didn't like the thick finish on the neck or the price (schoolboy at the time) so I ended up across the street buying a woolworths Audition semi acoustic. It took me a three decades or more to actually own a telecaster.

I do like that though Waz, just looks like it needs to be played loud and hard.

My 50th was also this year, I tried to and failed to find a 67 guitar I like, and can afford, didn't help that it's not a good year for Gretsches, my first choice, so ended up getting a new one instead.

Waz, in answer to your question re pup heights on mine:

Bridge HB: measured at the back of pup, 4.5 mm to bass E, 4.5 mm to treble E
Neck HB: measure at FRONT of pup, 5mm to bass E, 6mm to treble E.

Using 10-48 hybrids.

There's a slight bass imbalance on the neck pup, but that's just mine, so it's 1mm up on the treble. Use that as a bass, but check with ears!
