If he ever releases one with presets I am buying one instantly.
I've always fancied one of these. Can you get bread and butter sounds easily, or is it one if those pedals you would endlessly mess with for whaky sounds you never find again?
Because it's very easy to forget settings I write down everything I like as I go.
The only thing I haven't tried with a BitQuest! is . . . another BitQuest. I reckon two or three would be nearly enough.
What would be cool (I guess) is if Ryan would release a 'Super Bitquest' with the ability to change and save presets so wouldn't have to keep bending down to change things. However that would mean making the footprint larger, and I guess a large part of the charm of the Bitquest is its diminutive size. Plus it would be bloody expensive.
I resisted the urge to buy an EQD Acapulco Gold fuzz pedal by spending the afternoon messing around with my BitQuest! switched to Fuzz and working through the various settings.
Here are the ones I wrote down for those who might be interested. The knobs are numbered

More fun today (so much so that I've ordered another pedal, not a second BitQuest . . . yet)
Here are some more clean settings (so that I can still find them even if I throw away my notebook)

One of them (I think it was the last one) combined with the Miku sounded like a choir of drunken mice, with some notes sounding like they're being accompanied by bagpipes, which has got to be worth the price of a BitQuest! alone. . .
Because the BitQuest! has got me back playing guitar rather than spending half the day on the internet, I decided to ride the wave of enthusiasm and buy another pedal
So now I've got to find room for not only the Mr Black Gilamondo that I took out to make room for the BitQuest! but also a shiny new Digitech Obscura
If funds come my way I also fancy the Catalinbread Bicycle Delay but this will do very nicely for adding delay when the BitQuest! is busy making other silly noises.
I did look to see if anyone was selling, but didn't find one. If I'd seen the WMD Geiger Counter in time I'd have had that first though
Bit quest was set to:
Whatever the 4th setting is, mine doesn't say.
1: 2.30
2: 5.00 (all the way to the right)
3: 12.30
4: 1.00
5: 7.00 (all the way to the left)
6: 5.00 ( all the way to the right)
I've got the new pedal added to the line up and made room for the Gilamondo too.
