Dream amp... literally.

What's Hot
Just woke up having dreamed about designing my perfect amp.  I think I'm spending to much time on here..!

Turns out it's the normal channel of a 64 blonde bassman in a 112 combo.  Celestion blue speaker, harmonic tremolo, spring reverb and iron man attenuator.

Anything close exist in real life??

Not sure about the Celestion Blue and the Iron Man, but I’m with you on the rest!

Have you built a harmonic trem amp before Chris?

These are the closest I can find but still quite a way off... http://carlscustomamps.com/blonde-20w-40w-and-80w/

Yeah. There's no reason why you couldn't simulate this with a Helix. There's an amp head patch for the Normal channel of the Bassman, and you can add the 1x12 cab block with a Celestion blue and place the harmonic trem and spring reverb blocks in whatever configuration you'd like. Job's a goodun'

Yeah I have, such a hypotonic sound. I actually prefer the earlier two valve circuit, rather than the later 2-1/2 valve one.

Having a quick look, your amp would have no more valves than a Deluxe Reverb, for example.

    V1 - Normal Channel
    V2 - Reverb Send
    V3 - Reverb Recovery
    V4 - Trem 1
    V5 - Trem 2
    V6 - PI
    V7 - 6L6
    V8 - 6L6
    V9 - Rectifier (optional)

Definitely sounds like a great project :)

    I had dream that I owned a Marshall TSL122.

    It was a nightmare.

Then I woke up and I still had it...

The Blue wouldn't take the power...

But seeing as we are currently discussing the Siupersonic 60 in this channel, then that has the 64 Bassman voicing, spring reverb, 1x12 but sans tremolo.

The new Cream Alnico would though, and it would be rather appropriate given the colour of the amp too :).

I actually think that the Fane A60 is a closer match to the Blue than the Cream is, but I'm splitting hairs really, they're both fantastic.
