Not what I had planned

So yesterday I woke up at 3am unable to breathe. Scary stuff - I drained a ventolin inhaler and things were better but not great. I just figured my cold had gone down on my chest and a day in bed would solve it...

Cutting a long story short, here I am stuck in a hospital bed rigged up to all sorts of drips and breathing oxygen. They think it's pneumonia...

And there was me just wanting to play with my new Gigrig G2!

Just want to go home now. I hate hospitals!!!

Good job you went to hospital. When I lived in Reading I practically had to force our next door neighbour to A&E when she had pneumonia, she looked like she was on her last legs.

The NHS is brilliant.

I got read the riot act for not calling 999 when it first came on. TBH, I wish I had as they could have dealt with it a lot quicker.

I had something similar in the spring, but when you walk into a hospital when you're 'of a certain age' complaining of chest pains all hell breaks loose. It was just a chest infection (as we all suspected), but the NHS staff were awesome.

And your right the NHS is excellent, when you REALLY need it it`s first class.
