waffle back tuner question

anybody know if waffleback tuners are a direct replacement for typical gibson type klusons or are the screw holes in a slightly different place?

The wafflebacks are bigger and the screw holes are further apart - but that means they will completely cover the old screw holes if you fill them and re-drill.
