Morning all!!
I'm after some rosewood/walnut etc. to cut a pickguard from. I've looked all over the place on the internet and cant find anything.
We have a CNC router at work so getting them cut is no problem at all. Its finding the blank that I'm struggling with!
Thanks

best bet if probably acoustic sets as they will be about the right thickness. it will be thicker than the average plastic guard but you need that extra for strength
don't buy a whole acoustic set though, contact david dykes or another luthier suppliers, they should be able to sort you out with just enough at the right thickness.
An alternative is to laminate the required thickness from veneers but its not as easy as it sounds
