Must be USA built, Spruce Top, Maple Back & Sides. Preferably from the 80's.

For a pal of mine, recently bought a second hand one from the 80's from a well known outlet. However the couriers have destroyed the guitar in transit, and I mean destroyed. The shop have been first class in arranging a refund, but it leaves my pal struggling to find it's relacement. Anyone got a lead on an example of this specific guitar?
