Just Quit My Band

And it feels good.

Last week the drummer was actually relieved and thanked the singer because he couldn't make it, this week the other guitarist can't make it, that's one session we've had in the last 2 months, can't be arsed with these people not wanting to be in the band so i told them today I am out.

The singer says he knows another drummer so maybe we'll regroup then but in the meantime it feels good to be free of that shit

Had a look on Join My Band this morning but there's nothing locally so for now I shall just play with myself

Hopefully, you'll find a replacement band that is motivated to play. Sounds like you made the right move leaving the previous band!

When cruising the joinmy band site, look in neigbouring areas too and respond to things that may not quite fit your perfect options. Making contacts is the name of the game and sooner or later good will come of it. ;-)

I'm currently doing the JMB thing for a new bassist. Got two auditioning in the next few weeks - one sounds good and the other is a long shot (you never know though eh?). Very much into people who are into it rather than superstars. Our last guy was a complete drain on all positivity so it was a relief when he quit.
