'Cheat sheets' for a jam night?

Right, hosting this 'ere aftershow at the Great British Guitar Show on Saturday - I'm making up a few 'musician karaoke' folders with cheat sheets for the kind of songs where one or two people playing might know the song all the way through but the other guys playing might need some prompting.

I've hammered together a dozen or so tunes that I reckon would be suitable (left out stuff like Sweet Home Alabama and any Status Quo etc, because if your bassist can't sort them by ear he/she is a musical retard) - the likes of 'Crazy Crazy Nights', 'Rock 'n' Roll Star', 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' and whathaveyou - what tunes would YOU feel comfortable stepping up to play on guitar but would want your bassist / rhythm player to have sheets for in such a situation?

And natch, if anyone's actually coming to the show, this is your chance to make sure you've got a backing band with cheat sheets for your showpiece...

  • I found the sheets really useful. thanks for sorting them out.
I might have to go away and write up some charts of my own now.
