There's a place near me does electric Moggie Minors. To me that makes a bit more sense. They're fun, cool, not too rare/expensive, comfy for town work, and have cheapish body panels available. Even modest electric power could actually make them go a fair bit quicker… and they really handle, too. Skinny tyres and rear wheel drive makes for fun on roundabouts.
