Adam's Bird built a while ago at Baileys

KalimnaKalimna Frets: 1540
Following on from another thread, heres a couple of photos of the dreadnought acoustic i built a few years ago with Mark Bailey. This is being typed up on my mobile, so apologies if photos dont work....

It has a macassar ebony back and sides, spruce top and mahogany neck.
The fingerboard is a lovely piece of heckin' expensive snakewood. Beautiful wood to finish but somewhat laughs at tool edges - "I see your centre punch and raise you one wood-from-hell"
Tuners are Gotoh 510's, nut/saddle are Tusq and frets are metal....
It was built over about a week and a half with Mark, Carol, Billy et al. Wonderful people only too eager to pass on knowledge and drink endless cups of tea. Unfortunately the original back developed a few cracks and had to be replaced - an interesting experience in itself.
It feels a very loud and resonant guitar, that weighs a tonne for an acoustic. Probably better suited to plectrum picking/strumming than fingerstye, but im not very good at these descriptors.
Anyway, hopefully, here are some photos. There wont be any soundfiles as my playing is pish :) And the additional stickers are courtesy of my two boys, Sebastian and Isaac...

Headstock inlay - not too shabby for a first attempt at MOP.

The macassar in all its glory. It is a little darker in real life.

Anyway, as usual any questions feel free to ask :)
