The mini jubilee seems like a great idea and I've heard good things about it.
I was wondering if anyone had heard any rumours about marshall doing the same for the jcm800 2203?? Wishful thinking ??Or could it happen??!!

There are a couple in the pipeline apparently but knowing Marshall they will chose the amps than we don't want, 20w Artiste or something.

There is a massive thread on TGP regarding the new DSL line. As far as I am aware its the following:

    DSL1
    DSL20
    DSL40
    DSL100

I can't recall the specifics but apart from the DSL1 they are all to be EL34 powered and some new fangled interface output.

DSLs are built in Marshall's factory in Vietnam.
One day I'm going to make a guitar out of butter to experience just how well it actually plays.

And they're better made and more reliable than the older UK models.

  • I think the DSL is a harsh sounding amp

Was  hoping for a JCM 800 mini

  • I think they'd be mad not to.
Classic and more simple circuit in a format that addresses a lot of the "issues" that the big amps have.
    I'd have 2!!

  • I'm currently using two 80's Marshall lead 12 heads to get my Marshall tone

Solid state based on the JCM 800 and they sound fantastic but is still love a proper 20watt valve JCM 800 head with loop and half power mode
