Finish evolution

so, used Wudtone Black Magic Woman, was really disappointed with the finish even though it was in no way a bad finish. This is how it looked:

So, after much deliberation I decided to sand it off and redo it with Crimson guitars dye as that gets a lot of positive vibes on here. Here’s how it looked after initial sanding:

Love it! Has a very cool burnt/ ancient wood thing going on. Keeping that.

That looks awesome.  If it was mine I'm genuinely not sure if I'd just leave it as is or stain with another colour over the top like purple or green.
