Hi

Anyone know what DAM Drag n Flies are going for lately? Thinking of letting go of mine.

Thanks

I'm actually not sure what the going rate is, the DAM forum would be the place to ask. I'd certainly love to have a go with one, though. I've got some EFE pedals but never had a DAM.

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Which version of the Drag n Fly? Who built it - if David built it they can be worth more. What condition?

The variation in price is huge - I had an offer of £1000 for mine, but that is the very first small box Drag n Fly ever built by David.

The DAM forum is a good place to ask advice.

I'll try and get some photos up as soon as possible. Didn't know about the DAM forum. Thanks for all the info.
This is the only one I've got on the phone.

Would never have thought myself lucky enough to get £1k out of a pedal, hahaha

    Thanks! That was really helpful.

Like said... my Drag n Fly is a bit ‘special’. It’s also not for sale!

A standard Linzi built one should be about the £200-250 mark.
