mcsdanmcsdan Frets: 451
Cornell plexi 18/20 head and matching 1x12 cab. Only used at home and in excellent condition. The V1 preamp has a mullard ecc83 which makes this amp sound superb. £1000 cash on collection only from Hockley, Essex.  Prepared to travel to meet up (within reason) if that helps.

This is in mint condition having never left the house since I've had it.

Also have a DrZ brake lite attentuator for the amp £100 (sell with amp - won't sell separately).

Hi, How does it cope at lower volumes - does the brake lite keep most of the frequencies when you get low? I've rephrased this question about 5 times, but I guess if you only play it at home you know what I mean :) Thanks

The Dr Z airbrake is fabulous for reducing the volume but keeping the highs reasonably there. The amp has a low setting which brings it down from 18/20W to 5 watts and in conjuction with the air brake it reduces to 1-2 watts (about 4 settings on the air brake for adjustment). I play it at home and the when I've asked the neighbours they say they never hear me play lol (good thing!!).

These also have the choice of a valve(18w) or solid state rectifier (20W) which to me seems to tighten up the sound on the solid state  already I generally use the valve.

As usual on these the controls are quite interactive and I set it up for my most overdriven sound and then turn down guitar volume for cleans. I also use an EP booster to just five the front end a slight clean boost.  You can also jumper the channels to mix the normal, treble channels to get  best of both.

    Hope this helps,

    Dan
