    You can pick up V3’s on eBay now, for £45. 

    I just bought on, not for the TV, but to stream music to my hifi. Apple TV3 has digital audio out. It goes into a good DAC, sounds damn fine.  TV is a bonus though

    Cheers guys. I've got a sonos system for streaming music. It was mostly for mirroring and streaming youtube/movies I've downloaded to my TV. I have an iPhone, MacBook and iPad so it seems like it would be ideal. 

    Ideally looking for 3rd generation or later.

    I've got a spare 3rd gen one - so does 1080p for mirroring and has digital audio out. no box but comes with original remote. Probably a few marks on it as it is used but works perfectly. Would be happy to sell for £45 posted.
