1 x 12 cabinet making or buying ?? What to look for/at ?

Morning All,

It might be a long shot here but...

I started thinking of buying or making a decent 1 x 12 cabinet to plug my Marshall Class 5 into it (or maybe, in the future, other small head - having Ibanez TSA15H in mind...)

Budget: up to £200 (max)

What I am after (sound wise):
- 'nice vintage' sound (I know....vintage);
- enough bottom but also decent headroom.
- music I play: mainly blues and classic r'n'r (SRV, Clapton, AC/DC, Black Crows etc)
- must be portable (thus 1 x 12) 

A) If buying - what options should I look at (make/model)??

if building - what speaker should I look at (greenbacks??)??

Lots of people seem to rate the Harley Benton vintage 1x12 from Thomann. Not as cheap as it used to be, but still a good price and it's ply rather than mdf:
