Funnily enough, I have an Ibanez RG200WH that is not seeing much action.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Would you care to narrow that down? Traditional fulcrum, double-locking, Bigsby, other?

  • Ive always wondered what was going on with the controls on these, the plastic cups i mean. Now ive seen the back it makes sense. They must be top mount. Odd move though.

Are you not considering trades anymore? I have a JS100 that is upgraded to MIJ spec in the classifieds.

    Cheers

The plastic cups are fastened into the top of the body with two small wood screws. Removing the "beehive" control knobs makes them much more easily accessible.

To either side of the pickup mounting surrounds, the body rapidly tapers away to a thickness of approximately 10mm. There is not enough space to rout a cavity to house the pots, switch and jack in a conventional manner.

The plastic cups are actually metal ones - I have a bunch of them if anyone wants some

You're right. It was the selector switch mounting thingy that was plastic.
