Have to agree, I don't like trems at all, but they took a Les Paul and made it to fit a different market, and done an excellent job of it, the neck join on them is a revelation.
Massive improvement that distracts from the 'Fat-Arsed' look of an LP.

Yes they can be spoken together and that LP looks brilliant. Even though I don't actually like Floyds.
The body is also a little thinner (but not enough to bug me like the custom lite models) so that gives enough to let the Floyd routing work. It’s a very clever design imo.
