A really nice Baja, I took this in a part-ex trade, and I can't fault it. Serves their reputation very well. It's from 2010 and is basically as close to as new as you'll find in a 7 year old guitar - can't find a mark on it. It owes me a bit over £500 on the trade but I'll take £500 which I think with the newer style red handle Fender USA case is pretty good?

Would prefer collection but might post if you twist my arm and pay the postage.

Cheers

Nice case! Nice guitar! Fender Baja's are a wallet friendly introduction into the world of Telecasters, and I'd only change mine for an AVRI or CS model (maybe!)
If we are not ashamed to think it, we should not be ashamed to say it.

  • Any idea if its the trans blonde or non trans desert sand colour (i know the black pickguard indicates its the trans blonde but this can be easily swapped and its hard to rell if the colour is opaque or not )

Not in the market for this, but I spent an hour with one recently in a music store. Really lovely guitar. Great to play and very, very versatile. Whoever buys this won't regret it.

My favourite Fender colour! I wish I hadn't sold mine in haste along with the Squier CV desert sand Duo sonic I had at the same time.......

A very versatile guitar and a superb bargain at that price. I had a Baja, sold it because of the 'one in one out' rule - bought it back within months. I wouldn't say this is an introduction to the Telecaster, it holds its own against any telecaster I've come across. The soft v neck is a delight IMO.

I said it's "a wallet friendly introduction into the world of Telecasters" ... so anybody who fancies giving one a go can do so for very little money, safe in the knowledge that it's also a quality guitar. Of course they could also spend 1k+ for the experience

£500 including the case is a good deal for an unmarked Baja. I've got the Fender gig bag that came with mine and it doesn't really offer much protection, so I am assuming a potential buyer would want the case too. I will keep an eye on this thread, I like the red handle

  • I'd probably buy this (I'm in Bristol so could collect) if I could shift my recently purchased red Gibbo LP Melody Maker (NOS 2014 model) which I just bought new 4 weeks ago on an impulse.....nice, but I would prefer a Baja again. I'll see if mine moves....
Wouldn't need the case, though, tbh, I don't play out. But lovely Baja.

  • Bristol to me is very doable @rivercider ;) I've done a few gas raids myself to your City.
