Never seen them myself and I am quite tempted as long as tickets aren't stupid prices... I really liked Book of Souls a lot.

I've only seen them 13 times. Will no doubt go to at least one.
Shame about the support but it's been a long time since they took decent support bands out.

  • You missed Newcastle on the 31st July...

I'd quite like to see them and haven't since Donnington "x" years ago (Where x is a very high number and my dementia can't spell it)

  • I'm a recent convert, saw them at the O2 on The Book of Souls Tour and loved every second. Great atmosphere, huge variety in the audience as well.

Shame that the London date clashes with Priest at Bloodstock.....

If anyone feels the ground shake in the next 10 days it's me,.....moving heaven and earth to get 2 of these tickets.

I missed The Book of Souls due to health reasons and swore I'd get to the next one.
    I've never seen Maiden Live!

@Blackjack ....do you know about this yet?

Never really understood all the fuss about Iron Maiden, despite being a metal fan. I think it was Bruce's voice I didn't like, although I did hear him sing at a Samson gig years ago, and thought he was OK back then.

If I could be teleported into a decent seat at the O2 Arena, and then back home again after the gig, I'd think about it, but as that's not gonna happen, I guess I will never see Maiden live.

    What're the ticket prices like?

Never been a fan of that kind of polite metal.
And I always wondered why the guitarist wore one of my first band's shirts in metal hammer.

    polite metal! haha :D

Each to their own and all that. Better than some of the rubbish they've had supporting them in recent years.

Maybe he's a fan? Which guitarist was it? the short  haired one or long haired (and bearded) one?

When I saw Maiden, probably around 15 years ago now, the support were Ronnie James Dio and Motorhead.... that was absolutely un-toppable!

Sadly we have have Shinedown and Funeral For Friend recently.
Oh well, lots of time for catching up with the die hards that I know. Last tour i was talking to people on the 245th maiden gigs. And they were telling me about someone they consider a superman...

  • A bit annoyed they're not playing Leeds again, but I'll probably go to Manchester or Newcastle.

    Up the Irons!

Saw them in the early 2000s. It was so loud I couldn't even tell what the first 3 songs were!
