Tickle in my ear

What's Hot

I've had a tickle in my left ear for over six months now.
Not constant, but every few hours... tickle tickle.
I've tweezered in there for days, trying to get what I'm assuming is a hair out, without success.
Tickle tickle.
I've looked in there with my little USB microscope - no bugs, spiders or anything untoward.
I've had my GP look in there - nothing.
Tickle tickle...
In desperation I foolishly put some hair removal cream on a cotton bud and very carefully wiped it where the tickle was coming from (yes, I know).  Rinsed it all out.  My outer ear canal is sore from the chemical burn now, but at least there is no hair in there anymore !!!!!!!

This evening....

Tickle tickle.

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

is it telling you to burn down churches and cleanse the streets of all ungodly filth? Or is that just my tickle that does that?

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

I like a gentle scrape with a Bic pen lid, when I get that itchy feeling. The feeling of satisfaction when you see the hair stuck to the lid is sublime.

Failing that, tried some ear drops/wash?

Make America grrrrreat again The internet has reacted with amusement after a picture of the inside of a dogs ear appeared to bear a startling resemblance to Donald Trump

Have you ever thought of simply going to the Doctors?

That'll be 100 Guineas, pay the nurse on your way out.

I have the same. It's eczema, and I had 3 doctor's look in there before one even said anything was wrong. I'd go to a different doctor and ask them to look.

I put a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water in my dog's ears to clean em. Try it for a start. You might just dislodge summat juicy.

I've had GPs and consultants diagnose nothing, even after £1000s of tests, then another one years later finding the cause

If you still have the symptoms, go back to see them again

Sorry Emp, my mistake, your ears are fucked, as are my eyes.

    That'll still be a 100 Guineas though.
