Okies, so despite having the guitar back yesterday morning, seller has failed to respond to refund request and I've now opened a case  against him under buyer protection rules. He has 8 days to respond before I can escalate to a claim.

spoke to ebay earlier - they said they'll let both disputes stand as one is asking for a return and the other is for a refund. He's now got until September 1st to respond, but they assured me that I will get everything I want off this as he is clearly completely in the wrong. Grrr.

His feedback was good, there was one incident of another guitar not as described, but it was resold to good feedback afterwards.

Anyway, update.

He finally emailed. Despite a TNT delivery confirmation including surname and signature (though not his) seller is now claiming he hasn't had the guitar back and won't refund until he gets it. Ugh. He's going to ask other shopkeepers around his building tomorrow.
