SS/BS Mini Overdrive

Hey, you. Yes, you!

Do you need a pedal that can get you a low gain, on the edge of break-up sound?

How about a pedal that can give you a mid-gain, classic rock crunch?

Oh, you like Big Muffs?

And how about that nasty, spluttery Fuzz Face type tone?

Well, the Smallsound/Bigsound Mini can achieve all of that. Seriously!

It might be the most versatile circuit I have ever experienced. It can truly ape all of the sounds mentioned above. I am incredibly impressed.

Whats more, is that Brian from SS/BS has actually released the circuit diagram, and you can build your own version.

So, you owe it to yourself to try an SS/BS Mini. It's a truly great pedal!

Agree with all of the above. The Mini is probably the most versatile pedal I own - boost/dirt/crunch/fuzz/WTF for guitar AND bass.

  • I have a love/hate relationship with my Mini. Some days it's too bright, too fuzzy, hecking amazing or never gets turned off. I have a Fuck overdrive too and they are similar but very different at the same time.

It's so versatile though, what's your favourite settings?

  • I generally like the gain to be either full whack for fuzz settings, and i just alter the bias to go from fuzz face to big muff and back. Love what the bass dial does for fuzz tones.

I really like the gain and bias at about 1oclock and EQ to taste; sounds pretty marshally in that setting.

It's great for clean boost too!
