How do I connect a looper pedal into a multi FX/4 cable setup?

I’ve got a Boss GT100 connected via the 4 cable method, going into a Blackstar HT20 head and cab.

I’m looking at getting a Ditto X4 looper. Can someone explain how I would include it into my setup? I don’t know which cable(s) to unplug to make it work.

I want it so that if I record a clean loop, I can add an overdriven loop on top of that...not connected so that if I record a clean loop and then switch on overdrive, the clean loop gets overdriven too.
I don’t have a gambling problem, I’m winning, and winning is not a problem for me. That’s like saying that Iron Maiden have an awesomeness problem.

  • You'll want the Ditto after the cable come out of the amp, back to the GT.  This means it'll receive all of the signal from the amp and GT, but won't be affected by change of channel.
