Ok, have decided to sell all of my gigging amps and start again. All of them are great, just time for a change. All at what I think are great prices to the lovely people on this forum. Here goes.

The Rivera Clubster 45 was a popular 45 watt 1x12 combo when it came out about 10 years ago. Small enough to carry into the car, loud enough to gig. Made by the former fender designer Paul Rivera, the clean channel is classic fender blackface clean and the reverb is fab. Plenty of tone controls to tweak and pull out for boost. Second channel more Marshally. Takes pedals very well. Comes with non original foot switch (channel switch and reverb) and padded cover. Very good condition. Looking for £400 - now £375 - which I think is an absolute bargain (one on gumtree recently at £525, one on eBay at £650) sorry no trades. Collect from East Finchley, north London or I could drive if within 30 minutes. Sorry no postage.

  • That is a great price!  (I've got one and I love it.)

Sometimes I like to run channel 2 with the master all the way up, but using the gain knob as the volume knob so it's working in the same way as channel 1.  That way you can have two "clean" channels but with very different EQs - it's amazing how different drive pedals sound depending on whether you run it through the "Fender" channel or the "Marshall" channel.

Peavey Classic 20 combo for sale, tweed heaven. reluctant sale - this is my second one but not getting used enough now I have a Yamaha thr10c at home. 1x10 tweed valve combo from the 1990s. Hard to find and quite sought after. Lovely cranked tweed sound when you use the master volume. Good condition.

Slight burning smell when run for a while now fixed - it was just dust. Cheap price of £180 - they go for silly money on fleabay (£250 plus). Collection from East Finchley north London, I may drive say 30 mins or meet at convenient tube stop to deliver. I won’t post as packing valve amps is a pain.

Session 15:30 valve combo. this is a very rare valve amp from the guys that made the sessionette etc at Award Session. This was their first amp, runs at a very loud 15 or 30 Watts - was called a poor mans Mesa Boogie when launched, but I think it is a class a valve amp that is pretty full on clean ac30 that can bite your head off. I don’t think they made that many in 1979 - a few hundred - and after selling one in the 1980’s i decided to find one and it took me 5 years to find one but we haven’t gelled so it needs to go. This is in ok condition - a few tolex tears - and has some strange mods (3 slider buttons and a now disconnected horn) that are best left off / ignored Comes with castors and a cover.
I paid £250 for her, and spent £150 on a service / a few new valves. Looking for £250 - now £225 - for quick sale. Collection from East Finchley, north London or I can drive nearby. Too big to post

  • Mike bought that Rivera from me. He's only the second owner. I think I bought it new in 2008/9. It's a great gigging amp. Built like a tank, small footprint, glorious cleans, loves pedals and easy to balance in the band mix. If it wasn't for bad timing at my end I'd be trying to buy it back! (Mike - but I can't, sorry..)
