Heard Noel talking about this song being recorded at the end of an interview in RTÉ 2FM Studios, Dublin. Really great song  IMHO. Enjoying the album as well.

  • Yeah.  A great song for sure.  I think I heard him saying that he didn't even know this was recorded until he was told by one of his crew when he was looking for bonus material for the deluxe album.

  • Yep I think he was recording a version of The Dying of the light, and played this afterwards whilst in his own little world, as he'd written it a couple of days before. Nice bonus to find they had still been recording!

  • Very much enjoying the album too. Black & White Sunshine particularly a fav.

  • Haven't been a big fan of his previous two offerings, but the new one great. Had it on none stop in the car. It's different and also good which is a rare commodity these days to combine the two. There's even one or two tracks that are dead ringers for a Bond theme.
