I think when its at that stage it isnt even about the £250k. It's about the infrastructure and people that Sugar can throw at it overnight. That's what I think is a shame, TV show aside it would be nice to have seen Michaela go on to achieve that, hopefully she will anyway.

She has a track record - she can get investors on board with the skills she needs. I think Claude said the same.

Sugar is about taking something small and growing it to £3 million and selling it. A £30 million business is a big beast.

Just responding to some points above:

1. The sweets- so, he goes into a very commoditised, health risk business? The only reason I can see it working is Sugar's Sugar as a brand. No usp.
2. Micheala- there's 2 niches for her products at either end of the food chainl preplanning land deals before the planning trigger. The market has needed it for years, and if Glenigan and ABI can't deliver, she can't- however, breaking down the ABI offering into targetted bits for specialist subbies is a good idea, and that, I believe, was her plan.
3. Recruitment- pur-lease. So commoditised it's untrue.
4. Elizabeth's offering could have been scaled big time. She's the McDonald's  system of Florists.

Oh yes.

5. Andrew- yes I would have.
