Shadow Chromatic E Tuner in a pickup ring

Ive seen these only on some Epiphones and im actually going to try it out on a build soon...  But I think its a really good idea for an on board tuner...  nice and out of the way.

Anyone tried one?

Built into Youngest Son’s Epiphone LP Elite[1] - it works, it’s comes in very handy on a couple of occasions, but it’s not really a substitute for a proper pedal/rack tuner with a big clear, bright display (although that could just be my eyesight!).

Not something I personally would imagine specifying for a custom build, but it certainly wouldn’t put me off a guitar if it came as part of the package...

I've got one in my PRS Mira, its brilliant. Easily one of the most useful mods i've done on it.
