I've been offered an EC Vibro-Champ . . . . Has anyone tried one ???

I wont get the chance to try it out until Sunday but wondered if anyone has had the opportunity to use one as a Practice or Recording Amp. . . . I've enjoyed the YouTube Videos and it looks and sounds the part but I did see a negative review about the quality of some of the EC range ? ? ? I appreciate that the guy who reviewed it could have been having a bad day, or was possibly Victor Meldrew's more miserable brother, but any comments would be appreciated . . .
Id just like to point out that, despite all the video and DNA evidence, it genuinely wasn't me, your Honour  !

Hate the tone here, sounds like something is wrong with the amp....

but with a graphic EQ in front would make a great practice amp, and without the graphic EQ a nice bluesy amp or one for accompanying acoustic instruments

Had one a while back, it's an ok amp, nothing special, just a champ. I don't really use tremolo, so that bit was wasted on me.

There are are way better small tweed options out there imo. If you want the best sounding champ style amp, get a Victoria 5112. Still one of the best tones I have had out of any amp. Some of the small Swarts are nice also, but the Viccy..... god only knows why I sold it........

There was small Rift 5 watter in the classifieds a few days back. I currently have a Rift and they are superb amps.
