Up for sale, my very nice 12 string Flambeau acoustic. Built in 83/84 in Japan by the Yiari company as far as I can deduce. These Flambeau's were designed by George Lowden as a favour to the Japanese company that helped him out in the early years.

It is in remarkably fine condition with a just a couple of small blemishes on the Spruce top. I did have it set up as a 6 string and it performed well as one,but it truly comes into its own as a 12 string with a lovely rich and crisp tone.

Im pleased to have to admit that it does not sound as good as my Lowden F25, it would be just too much to bare thinking back to what The Lowden cost me What I will say is that it is pretty darn close to it though, I guess its the bracing and woods used that give it that Lowden like tone.
New set of D'adarrio light strings fitted last week and I keep it tuned to E flat as I think it just sounds better, it has a very low action (too low for some perhaps) for an acoustic and plays beautifully. Frets are in great shape, it has not had a hard life this guitar.

It comes with what i believe to be the original hard case, which is in very good nick.
