Is this a uniquely Northern thing or a West Country thing ( something about it sounds very West Country )

It's from Donkey! Monkey!, a forum which Lady BMcH and I ran some years ago.

Everyone had to have a soft toy dressed like a superhero as their avatar.

Lucky poos came about when one of the members had a particularly tough job interview coming up; we decided that if she felt nervous at any point she should imagine all the other members' avatars doing lucky poos. It's hard to be nervous when you know that there's a dozen soft toys wearing masks and capes and pooping in your honour. She aced the interview.

I brought the tradition to Musicradar, and it came here.

Thanks for the donations.  The potential problem wasn't a problem, which was great.

She thought her one on one interview was terrible, which wasn't so great.
