Sold - Gibson Les Paul Standard 1974 - inc Patent Pups

Putting this back up for sale or trade, as it's just not being played.

I've got into Fender now, apart from the lovely aged R8 I picked up from Ellwood.

So, looking for a decent custom shop strat, or maybe a tele. Not ruling out a masterbuilt and can add some cash. Maybe an SG. 

There is a pristine 74 on ebay in the USA at four grand, which is silly money, so I'd put this at around maybe two and a half.  


@Photek had a noodle on this a while back, and seemed to enjoy it :-)

It's a genuine 1974 Standard, not a messed with Deluxe. Plays amazingly well and sounds awesome, especially the PAF pups.

@hootsmon - Yes, I think it's fairly rare to see a four piece top, as they're normally three piece I believe. 

Pancake three piece body but four piece top.

Looks like an old army number or a security number NZxxxxx from years ago. Doesn't effect play.

Holes and inscription filled, though partially visible.

So, I've been offered 1850, and no fees, through someone on the dreaded ebay and collection to go overseas.

It's a low offer, he'll pick up with a courier after bank transfer, but I'm not using the LP and it just sits around. 

Seems like a genuine buyer and had a good chat. 

If anyone fancies this give me a shout asap, as I'd rather it stayed with a FB member....

Sounds like you should buy it then :-)
My only concern is the guitar going overseas - would rather it went to a forum member, if it's going at a low price.
