One of the first riffs I ever learned to play when I got my first distortion pedal, in fact I dredged it from my memory only a couple of weeks ago for a mate who was talking about the show!

I reckon my GT100 will do most of those sounds.

The Electro-Harmonix Micro Synthesizer will nail those sounds, especially the little riff at 0'15".

Loved that show. I was a teenager when it was shown originally, my mates and I were convinced Bob Godfrey must’ve been doing a LOT of drugs when he made that program.

Mick Taylor used it to demonstrate something or other on TPS and I thought it was fun so I learned it. Although probably mostly forgotten it again. Never sounded right as I’ve nothing on my board to get me sounding anything like that.
Interesting reading about it - written by Johnny Hawksworth who was a top British Jazz double bassist and wrote several theme tunes.
