John Renbourn

What's Hot
I've just been working my way through Bert Jansch's version of Lady Nothing, so can anyone recommend a John Renbourn cd in the same fingerstyle vein. Many thanks in advance.

  • Another Monday - early CD, has some accessible tunes. The best of contains a good mix. Lady and the Unicorn and The Hermit for all the "Folk Baroque" stuff. The albums with Stefan Grossman are great. New Nothynge on Nine Maidens. Check out his lessons at Stefan Grossman's guitar workshop website.

The Essential John Renbourn is probably still a good place to start.

A Maid in Bedlam is a really good album, though not so much a showcase for his guitar playing.
