"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

  • I managed to have a close look at Rory's Strat when it was in the display at Harrod's about 10 years ago? The most 'outstanding' feature on the guitar was the really poor fret job!! Make me even more in awe of his playing considering that the guitar was virtually 'unplayable' for us mere mortals......

I would never play a PRS, because everything about them offends me. They are to me the epitome of a bland, soulless guitar.

Nothing against anyone else owning one, it's just one of my personal principles.

immediately the following day to a  Guy who reckoned he was a punk who is
    still in prison.

    A Les Paul! ;)
I thought it was just me.  About once every 3 or 4 years i go through a spell of thinking I really should get one to complete the set.  I went into Manson's armed with Custom Shop money and just couldn't get on with it.  The sound was great, I just found it ergonomically disastrous.  YMMV etc.

Headless bodyless guitars.  They just feel plain wrong.

I love headless stuff (don't have a real steinie just a hohner).

But I admit I look even more stoopid than usual when I'm using it.  I would never play it in front of friends...

A real, old-school jazz archtop. I can play jazz, but I can't play an archtop with high action and .14s on it. I just can't. I'd look like a fraud if I tried.

I'll play anything, buying it is a different thing altogether.

I like playing different guitars as there are imho a number of benefits. It stops the I'll only play my guitar, mindset. It's gives you a reference i.e. your stuff is great after all and you don't need a telecaster after all. Or maybe you do. It might show you that you can go up a string gauge...or down.

Any horrible spikey 'metal' guitar esp if it has skulls and crosses all over it, and any guitar with metal necks (e.g.aluminium necks like Kramer used).
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

    An acoustic.
    Any acoustic.
Even the noise they make is awful.
Action you could drive a bus under, stupid strings,  ruined fingers .....

    Uggghhh
