There are certainly some people that would enjoy the ability to have legacy effects that they know and love at their command. I guess it would be awesome. If they did it.

...and external amp channel control, by the looks of it. Seems it'll be an extremely useful bit of kit for those who don't want the amp modelling

Absolutely - Not saying it's not going to be great value for money, and ideal for a lot of people, but what I want is a cut down Helix with a small footprint (and I want one now)

Not necessarily - if you had one of these connected in 4CM, you'd have a signal which includes the amp's preamp; stick an IR on that, and you've got a pretty good audio source for IEMs.

I'm rehearsing all afternoon for a big show tomorrow but will do my best to have all the info ready at 4.59. Launch is 5pm. I'm sure there is stuff I don't know but I do know stuff. And I've seen stuff. Haven't plugged stuff in but have tinkered with some stuff. And I'll be buying stuff.
