I lick fast country picking BUT don't like ballads

as the the title says I enjoy and I'm not bad at chicken picking fast country stuff in style of Albert lee etc . id like suggestions of artists that stick to the gritty bluesy fast country rather than singing ballads and cheesy stuff

I also play bluegrass but again some of the actual tracks are too cheesy any suggestions ?

I know you said that you don't like cheese, but Brad Paisley is a phenomenal player. Check out his 'Play' album, its mostly instrumental anyway.
