Anyone been watching this on BBC1/iPlayer?

It started off pretty slowly and got a bit annoying in Episode 2, but the remaining episodes really built the tension and the scares.

It has a very 70s / Denis Wheatley vibe to it.

    I watched  ep 1 and thought it had a close similarity to Hinterland... then blow me down with a feather if wassisface turns up in it as well playing same miserable sour-faced taff...

    I watched the first episode. Doesn't really seem to know what it wanted to be. 
    I really like Hinterland and it's version of Scandi noir, almost hilariously the same bloody actor turns up (as pointed out above). 
    The BBC not really knocking it out the park recently with drama, Hard Sun was awful. 
    Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

    +1  - - I think it was a mistake to cast Michael Owen as a transgen copper...

    Watched 2 episodes now and I'm enjoying it. I like that it's not just another police procedural where the main protagonist is a detective with a flawed personality. And thankfully there hasn't been too many cheesy cello playing interludes!

    Finished it last night. I quite enjoyed it... nothing to write home about but it was a proper one to unwind after a tough day at the job. The ending sort of calls for a second season; I reckon they are weighing up some things before they start to shoot it.
