Silly (?) question

Have been listening to The Best of UFO while re-arranging the media storage in my listening room. But have realised I never knew how to pronounce their name: is it YewFoh or Yew.Eff.Oh ?

That doesn't mean it's correct though. An American once introduced 10CC by announcing: please welcome on stage Eye-Ock.

After Live At Leeds, probably the greatest live rock album I've heard.

I have an old recording of Pete Drummond (IIRC) introducing them on a Sight & Sound in concert programme as Yew-Foh.  (That tells you how old the recording is!).

He could be a bit of a duck out of water  on those shows, but in that introduction he was positively a duck in a desert.
