Brass Dome Knobs

Anyone know where I could purchase some brass dome knobs for my '52 telecaster?

I'm afraid not, these seem to be gold plated... I mean just a brass finish

You should've been around in the 70s. Every guitar shop had brass knobs, brass bridges, pickguards... You could make a guitar out of brass in those days.

Some of the chrome plated ones will be brass underneath. But finding a way to remove the plating might be tricky. You could try salty water.

Armadillo do make excellent brass parts, they do a good replica of the Westone Thunder knobs and gotoh bridge.

MK-guitar.com in Germany did them, but just had a look and can't see them anymore. I believe ABM in Germany mad them. MK do have other brass parts though, like control plates.

Guitarfetish also did some which were quite cheap, but the dome didn't look right to me. Anyway, having just looked for them and they are also no more.

How much for a couple bits of brass???

I may have some brass bar in the workshop. I'm about to head out there, so I'll have a look, although the bit I'm thinking about may be phosphor bronze (that would give a pretty much instant reliced brass look, although I'm not sure how well it would knurl..)
