Lovely neck had this on a bass build but I need to shift some gear to raise some funds! The neck was bought with no tuners etc so they are non original but some great Schaller ones installed. Has some faint signs of wear as its a vintage neck! The previous owner said the neck had been re finished.
 £375 ppg.

    Would you be prepared to sell it for a lower price without the machine heads?

  • Please will you include some photographs of the neck heel?

    I would like to see;
    1) the truss rod adjuster at the end
    2) the flat area where the anchoring screw holes are.

    Many thanks.
    Just added some!

    The previous owner said the neck had been re-finished.
    Please could you enlarge on this? How much of the original finish was removed and, then, replaced? With what materials was the neck refinished? Urethane, nitro-cellulose or some areas in one and some in the other?

    With that suggestion in mind, it might be helpful to see a photograph of the rear of the headstock with the Schaller machineheads removed.
    Hey I'm unsure on what it was re finished with I'm guessing its just the back of the neck and has a similar feel to my custom shop necks, I can photograph the rear with the machine heads removed if you are interested just let me know! I think its a good price for a re finished neck anyway it feels much better than any of my other bass necks I just don't play fretless :)
