Anyone know Travisthenaughtypuppy - now resolved!

I purchased a pedal from @travisthedog 12 days ago, and haven’t received it yet. Have PMd him twice since last Friday asking for postage details and he hasn’t replied, also noticed he hasn’t logged on since Monday.

I’m sure it’s not worth him running off with £65 - is he the type to go on holiday and forget to post stuff?

Does anyone know him, is he OK?

I've met him a few times and he's a lovely bloke,  he has some vaguely scientific job though which I think involves lots of travel. I couldnt get hold of him once re a pedal and I think he was away with work for a few days and he was very apologetic when he got back.

He is a fish expert and works for DEFRA who send him all over the country

I will say this though. 
If he were to run off with your £65 then I'll give it back to you on his behalf personally and I've said that in public for a reason.

He's clearly had some problems with something and given that his wife struggles with health it could be that.

From my understanding he is a great guy.  It's not ideal having to wait, but don't be worried

It’s good to hear people can vouch for him. Looks like he logged on this morning, but didn’t post anything -just a quick “sorry not posted yet, will do on XYZday” would have been good! Currently I don’t know if it was posted, and has been lost/stolen by couriers or not. Anyway will wait until he contacts me.

I agree - very strange behaviour! I'm sure there will be a plausible reason. Hope you get it sorted pronto!

I've dealt with Jon too, he's spot on. I hope his wife isn't poorly again or anything bad like that.

ImI going to play devil's advocate...... Im sure he's a great bloke etc,  however taking money then not posting or communitating especially when hes logged on since is pretty appalling behaviour.

Similar situation here as the OP. I arranged a pedal trade/swap, posted mine to him (TC Spark, which he has recieved). Haven't seen the pedal he was supposed to be sending me.

Dealt with him before a few times and never had issues....so benefit of the doubt at the mo, but getting slightly more concerned as each day passes.
