There’s a couple of used Andersons in Gamlins music in Cardiff. If either had a wedgie neck joint I’d have had them. Not bad prices as Gamlins go either.

Thanks for the offer but I want a classic or DTC.
I won't go for a DT because I'm a HSS and SSS player and want to be able to swap pickguards around as it suits.

Yeah it’s a con I’m sure. I tried contacting the guy to buy it but he never got back to me. It all points to a private sale where you send money but guitar never arrives. The price should be enough to set alarm bells ringing. 

The same guitar is for sale on another listing in the US too, how can the same guitar be in two places at the same time?

I just checked ebay again. Haych, you are right, the guitar is listed in US too, but it's listed by the same seller: https://www.ebay.de/usr/daveknowsdeals?_trksid=p2047675.l2559. The seller seems to offer all type of products but his overall rating is good.

In ebay.de the seller is listed from Hamburg. 

In ebay.com the same seller is listed from Las Vegas. 

I just don't get it - how is this possible?

It seemed dodgy to me from the outset but I tried to contact the seller in any case just in case he’d had an aneurysm and actually was selling it for £1050. 

The listing states that all bids will be cancelled and you have to message the seller to buy the guitar. That makes me think it’s a scam as it all points towards a transaction completed outside of eBay so all protections are removed and the seller remains untraceable. 

As for the sellers rating, maybe the account is hijacked or stolen? I’ve heard that accounts and feedback can be faked but I don’t know how that works.
