First up is a set of Fender "Tex Mex" pickups from a Jimmy Vaughan strat... Bit of a back story, the strat in question was given to a mate by Jimmy Vaughans manager when my mate supported JV a few years back... Makes no difference to the pups but a nice little story...

Set comes with some Off White covers. The bridge pickup has had the wires replaced and also had a plate on it hence the "wax"

£60 posted in the UK ppg.

Next up is a Fralin Neck single coil... Sorry, I don't know the model... Sold.

Reads at 5.49k but that was straight out of a cold garage so may be a bit hotter. Leads have also been extended. No cover but will have a look in the parts bin to see if I have a spare. Had a look... No covers...

£30 posted in the UK ppg.   Sold .

Onto:

Fender custom shop Middle pickup... IIRC it came from a 57/62 set but don't quote me      further digging shows that it is probably from a Fat 50's set sold

Reading of 6.18k was again taken straight from a cold garage... nearer 6.4 in reality... leads have been extended and no cover.

£30 posted in the UK ppg. No longer for sale...

Lastly:

Exactly the same as above... Fender custom shop Middle pickup... again I think it came from a 57/62 set, As above - Probably from a Fat 50's set...  was using it as a bridge pup and it had a plate on the bottom hence the wax. Sold

Again, reading was taken cold. The leads have been extended and where the base plate was spliced in could do with some tidying.

£25 posted in the UK ppg. No longer for sale

Any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer.

The Fender 57/62 model is/was a production line pickup, intended to serve in the AVRI series Stratocasters but not entirely conforming to the specifications of either era. Distinguishing feature of this model include the bevelled edge to the top of the rod magnet polepieces and the *non-aged* pull-back cloth insulation on the conductor wires.

Fender Custom Shop pickup sets have names such as Custom '54 and Fat Fifties.

Cheers for the info!... honestly can’t remember what model they were, I do know they are both the “middle” pickup... yellow and black cloth wire if that helps identify them.
