1 Meg Pot for Deluxe Reverb

I have a silverface Deluxe Reverb and the volume pot is extremely abrupt between 2 and 3. It goes from low volume to crap, the amp is on 10. I gather that I need a 1 Meg audio (log) taper pot to remedy this. There seems to be quite an array, long shaft, short, split, etc. Could anyone point me to the correct variant, and the best place to pick one up? I suspect it's already been replaced, because it should be a pull-pot for the dreaded boost function, but isn't...Cheers.
